2nd - 5th May 2008 - Guildford Spring Course An excellent 4 day course for all those attended playing host some of Shotokan Karate's biggest names, Sensei Oska (8th Dan), Sensei Omura (7th Dan) and Sensei Nakata (4th Dan), not to mention our own JKAE Sensei Ohta (6th Dan). The course catered for all grades and covered a range of different techniques and practices, not to mention some memorable katas, Meikyo, Chinte, Bassai Sho to name a few for the visiting Sensei's. A chance to meet old friends as well as take part in the grading for which the club now has a new 2nd Dan: Sandra Dacres-Smith - Nidan (2nd) Dan - Congratulations.
