The Dojo Kun principles of conduct and attitude that students should strive for, inside the dojo and outside. They are said out loud at the end of the class while in "seiza" as follows: Hitsotsu - Jinkaku kansei ni tsutomuru koto - One - Seek perfection of character Hitsotsu - Makoto no michi o mamoru koto - One - Be sincere Hitsotsu - Doryoku no seishin o yashinau koto - One - nature the spirit of hard work (endeavour) Hitsotsu - Reigi o omonzuru koto - One - Respect others Hitsotsu - Kekki no yuu o imashimuru koto - One - Refrain from violent behaviour |
